ForthClover LLC (“ForthClover”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides senior AI engineering services to companies that need production-ready systems built in their own cloud accounts. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website at forthclover.tech, contact us through the form or email, or engage us under a written services agreement.
We aim to keep this policy short and concrete. If anything is unclear, email hello@forthclover.tech and we will explain in plain language what we do and why.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us through the website, request a discovery call, sign an NDA, or engage us under a statement of work, we collect the information you choose to share. That typically includes:
- Your name and job title.
- Your work email address and, sometimes, a phone number.
- Your company name and a short description of the work you want help with.
- Any documents, requirements, or technical specifications you send us during scoping or delivery.
Information we collect automatically
When you load pages on forthclover.tech, our hosting provider and any analytics we run may collect:
- Your IP address, browser, and operating system.
- The pages you viewed and how long you stayed.
- The referring URL, if any.
- An approximate geographic region derived from your IP.
We do not place advertising trackers on the site, and we do not run any cross-site retargeting pixels.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect or process the contents of your production systems unless you explicitly grant us access during an engagement. When that access is granted, the data lives inside your cloud account, not ours. See the security page for the architectural details.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Reply to inquiries and schedule discovery calls.
- Scope, deliver, and document the engineering work you have engaged us for.
- Send project updates, technical documentation, and the occasional follow-up after a project ends.
- Improve the website and understand how it is used.
- Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with marketing networks.
How we share information
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers. A small set of vendors help us run the business — for example, the email provider that delivers our messages, the cloud platform that hosts the website, and the calendar tool we use to schedule calls. These providers are contractually limited to using information for the services they perform for us.
- Inside an engagement. If you engage us, the engineers working on your project will see the project information you share with us. They are bound by the same confidentiality terms as the company.
- Legal obligations. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental request, and when necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Business transfers. If ForthClover is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will give notice before any such transfer changes how your information is handled.
- With your consent. We will share information in any other situation only with your explicit permission.
How we protect information
We use industry-standard controls appropriate for the sensitivity of the data we hold. That includes TLS in transit, access controls scoped to the people who need access, encrypted backups, and a written incident-response process. The full architectural picture — especially how engagements are deployed inside your own cloud account — is on the security page.
No system on the public internet is fully invulnerable. If we ever detect a breach affecting your information, we will notify you in writing without undue delay and explain what we know and what we are doing about it.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have a number of rights over the information we hold about you, including:
- Access. Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete the personal information we hold, subject to records we are required by law or contract to retain.
- Portability. Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection. Object to specific kinds of processing, including direct marketing.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@forthclover.tech from the address you used when contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to run the website:
- Strictly necessary cookies let the site function — for example, by keeping a CSRF token for the contact form.
- Analytics cookies, when enabled, help us understand which pages are useful and which are not. These are aggregate-only; we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings. We honor browser-level “Do Not Track” signals where they are sent.
International transfers
ForthClover is based in Maryland in the United States, and we work with clients around the world. Information we collect may be processed in the United States or in any region where our service providers operate. When we transfer information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with this policy and applicable law.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we have a business or legal reason to. Inquiry-stage emails are typically kept for up to two years; engagement records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus the retention period required by tax, accounting, and contract law (generally seven years). You can ask us to delete records sooner where the law allows.
Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for businesses, not individuals under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. When we make a material change we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where required, give notice through the website or by email. Continued use of the website after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
